Before


  •  Green Leaves Lash Artist recommend that you do not wear eye makeup or mascara, as it is important that your lashes are dry and oil free.     
  • Do not wear eye contacts.    
  • Do not use an eyelash curler.    
  • First full set appointment takes 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on your lashes. (3D and volume1-4 hours)

 

After


  • Avoid getting your lashes wet within the first 24 hours after your application. 
  • For the first two days after application, it is best to avoid swimming, saunas and steam rooms.
  • Avoid using oil based eye makeup remover. Avoid using waterproof mascara.
  • Green Leaves Lash Artist recommend using water washable mascara brushed gently on the tips of your extensions, or Volume-Up mascara which is specially formulated for lash extensions

  1. Are you licensed or certified lash lash technician?

  2. What are Eyelash Extensions?  Are they safe?

    Eyelash Extensions are an exciting product and technique that adds length and thickness to your natural lashes. They vary in length and style depending on whatever look you desire, and remain attached to the natural lash for the duration of its life cycle.

    Green Leaves Eyelash Extensions are attached to individual eyelashes with formaldehyde free adhesive, by our trained and certified professional Esthetician with years of experience.

    If you have known sensitivities, Green Leaves Lash Artist can do a 24 hour patch test on your lashes before getting eyelash extensions.

  3. What kind of glue do you use for eyelash extensions?

    Green Leaves glue is odor free, non-irritating and safe to use on the skin and eye area.  Green Leaves have many different types of glues, including some that work well with even the most sensitive eyes.  All of our glues are for professional use only!

  4. What happens if glue gets in your eyes?

    When applied by a licensed and professionally trained esthetician, there shouldn’t be any danger of glue getting in your eyes.  Green Leaves Lash Artist secure pads both above and below your eyes, and your eyes will be closed during the application.  Green Leaves Lash Artist also use formaldehyde free adhesive.

    Be careful where you get your eyelash extensions as some improperly trained specialists use too much glue with the eyelash extensions because they think it will make the extensions last longer. That is really wrong and can actually harm your lashes. Green Leaves use a smaller amount of glue as we try to keep your lashes healthy and enable your natural lashes to grow.

  5. Do I need to choose the type, design and style of eyelash extensions?

    Green Leaves Lash Artist do offer one of the largest varieties of eyelash extensions and Green Leaves Lash Artist will consult with you about which may be best for you and your eyes.  You can choose from some of our most popular designs, create your own or have our lash artist create a custom design specifically for you.

  6. How often should I get touch-ups?

    A natural eyelash falls off every 45 – 90 days, on average, due to the natural growth cycle and is replaced with the growth of new lashes. At any given moment, each of your natural lashes is at a different stage of its growth cycle. A touch up is needed to replenish the natural lashes that have completed their life cycle.
      Green Leaves Lash Artist recommend getting a touch up every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes full and beautiful!

  7. Do eyelash extensions harm natural lashes?

    When applied properly, lash extensions will not harm your natural lashes. Proper technique allows natural lashes to grow and thrive with extensions applied. Eyelash extensions should only be performed by licensed Estheticians that have had proper training in the proper application of eyelash extensions.

  8. Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?

    Eyelash extensions are not restricting to your lifestyle. You should avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours, and avoid swimming, saunas and steam rooms for the first 48 hours, as your lashes need time to cure. After that, you may swim, spa and exercise worry free!

  9. Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?

    Mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara.Avoid using waterproof mascara. Green Leaves Lash Artist recommend using water washable mascara brushed gently on the tips of your extensions, or Volume-Up mascara which is specially formulated for lash extensions
